If I cured my depression just by having a more active lifestyle, could this be a natural cure for depression?
I was on medication for 2 years and I was suffering from depression but these past few months I have felt great. I no longer have anxiety disorders either. Everything just cured itself ever since I made more friends and started getting out more. I mean when I was depressed I didn’t have anything to make me happy but lately ive just been more social with my friends and been going out more. Its like ever since my depression just went away on its own. I don’t even need medication anymore.
Why does it work this way?
Good idea but every is different and anyone who has depression handles it in different way so I don’t believe there is one difinent way to ‘cure’ depression. But if you were to say "having a positive distraction would help to cure depression" I would agree. (:

when we are depressed we close ourselves off from the world and look inward and everything becomes magnified, little issues take on a mind off their own and become impossible to handle which leads slowly but eventually to a breakdown, when we socialise or interact with friends we are looking outward and reaching out beyond ourselves and seeing things in a different light, so things slowly return to a normal perspective as we see there is more to life……
hope this helps
all the best and keep up the good work
