I’ve heard monounsaturated fats may help, so eat nuts, cook with olive oil. Also a lack of B vitamins, eat whole grains fortified cereals, soy products. From what I know it has not been proven, but really is anything science based provable. I think it makes sense if your not taking care of your body, or your lacking vitamins I wouldn’t doubt that it could make you feel depressed.

Try St. John’s wort, it’s pretty cheap about $8 for 150 capsules. It has been studied in europe to work just as well as the depression drugs. It worked for me, but know that it takes about one month to get into your system.

Yes you are lacking Magnesium which is found in nuts but mostly found in Almonds. You can also opt with aromapathy and the oil of Yang Yang is the best.

You might want to get to the source of your depression - meditation, self-help,psychotherapist, etc. I found that kinesiology works best for me. Outside of that, if your body is lacking nutrition you very well can become down and depressed (as well as allergies can do this) - we offer several different products in our line to help with stress, anxiety and depression. I have listed the link and you can simply enter depression in the "what’s your issue?" box to see the products.
