Natural remedies for anxiety/depression and excessive worry?
I am suffering from post partum depression and the Percocet really makes me relax and feel like I have hope. I was given it for my c-section. I was wondering if there are any natural things I could take that could have a similar effect. Not anything bogus or fake, but something that actually helps with depression and anxiety. Something to make me relax. Any help is greatlyaappreciated I want to enjoy my little boy!
All I can suggest is St Johns Wort but you have to take it everyday for it to work and it doesn’t even work on some people. But you can give it a try. Before you take anything though, I still recommend talking to your doctor about it if you’re taking other medication.

Honestly, postpartum depression is nothing you want to mess around with.
You simply cannot waste this short time your child is an infant pussy footing around. I know I had two completely different experiences with my children. Enjoying them is so wonderful. I wish I would have gotten help, taken anti-depressants with my first one.
Please see your doctor and don’t feel bad about getting some help with an anti-depressant.
Make an appointment first thing tomorrow morning. Tell the receptionist you are suffering from postpardum depression (she will get you in sooner).
Tonight sip a glass of nice red wine before bedtime.
One glass is fine even if you are breastfeeding.
