They are promoting brain implants for combating depression etc.
Here we see more BBC propaganda related to the promotion of brain implants. The clip starts off pushing the idea of merging man and machine, and arguing that this “may represent the highest stage in the mastery of intelligence”.
Then we are shown “Deep Brain Stimulation” - electrodes are implanted into the brain of a woman suffering from severe long-term depression. She is referred to as “desperate”, so as to make the idea of this man-machine merger less troublesome for the average viewer - most people won’t criticise this agenda if they are made to believe that its main function (so far) is to help the “poor unfortunates”. Later on we are informed that these “brain pacemakers” will be used for other neurological and psychiatric conditions besides depression, e.g. epilepsy, Tourette’s Syndrome, and possibly even autism and Alzeihmer’s later on.
The settings on the woman’s brain implant are fine-tuned. This is described as a “real roller coaster ride” because “they switch it one way and almost instantaneously you could be crying”.
The idea that any sort of authorities could be given the power to control people’s brains in this way is extremely disturbing.

lol, that’s a good question… the condition means that the person has lost all ability to control their emotions, usually the brain responds to natural stimulation from our 5 senses which gives us our emotions and we use our logic to interpret them,but a depressed person stays in the same mood all the time no matter whats going on around them…
